I think Quistis is one of the best FF characters ever.

I wish they had given her a bigger role and ditched Rinoa completely. I'm not a big Rinoa fan.

As much as I would have loved to see a stronger female love interest, Squall kinda needed the Rinoa character to break him out of his shell. The beginning of the game shows right off that Quistis couldn't do it, as her personality matched his in some ways. Squall needed a complete opposite personality to break him.

That said.. Quistis is a much better character than Rinoa and deserved much more character development than what she got.

Well, I suppose your right. Rinoa just irriated me to no end. But I suppose she was necassery
