i think i defeated shinra before doing the yuffie quests in wutai. now the lady in the item shop wont move out of the way so i can get the materia. lvl 97 without mp or hp absorb, any ideas on how to get it?

also, i found yuffie in the goblin islands, how did she get there?

she goes about anywhere i found her in mideel.

Yeah, Yuffie can appear in any forest in the world except the one in the little crater where you get KOTR since you can't encounter enemies there (I don't think). It's just that Gongaga is usually where most people get her (I get 'er near Junon though)

got her near Cosmo canyon.. umm.. near that destroyed reactor.. but annywhere can do.. You can do Wutai quest anytime i think..hmm...imean i HOPE .. so only find yuffie and go to wutai island.

I think the woman moves out of the way later in the game. sorry but you'll just have to wait.

im at the end now (lvl97,96,97, on disc3), when i went to wutai she never stole my materia. but it did allow me todo the leviathan quest.

She moves out of the way after you save Yuffie from Don Corneo. After that, Wutai becomes friendlier and they'll let you buy stuff
