    Finally, a win!

Don't count out the longshots just yet, fellas.

You know, I'm not really sure! I had forgotten all about that guy! I think he was injury prone, if I remember correctly. Maybe Charles Rogers will have a similar fate.

It would be awesome if we won enough games so that our final match would determine the fourth playoff spot. A lot of people have to lose to even get that far, though.

Finally I go somewhere in a fantasy sport. Well the rest I never fully paid attention to either because I never made the drafts. I'll be happy improving to 8-3.

Yes, a lot of new names in the top spots this year. I notice the old favorites make up the second bracket. It would be interesting to see how that played out if things stay as they are.

After a tough loss this week, my next matchups:

    Boston Knights
    spuuky
    Gee Whizz

I figure I have to win two of them to have a good shot at the playoffs. It'll be tough, but I like my chances if Bledsoe would start throwing again. Hopefully Edge doesn't get benched as Indy clinches the playoffs.

Who I'm rooting for this week:

    Myself (obviously)
    The Los Angeles Enforcers
    Banana Peppers
    Boston Knights
    DeathsHand
    The Vagabonds
    Team Discover Chan.

heh, it is foolish to root for me. I will only let you down. My QB is hurt again, and I foolishly let go of my backup earlier hoping I wouldn't need him. I also could have had a somewhat decent backup in Kurt Warner, but I didn't get to him in time. So my choices were Bulger's back up or a bunch of even worse QBs. This is why I'm not very good at fantasy football.

As I said, I'll continue to try and set the best line up possible even though the consolation bracket is starting to seem like a distant dream.

There's nothing wrong with being a spoiler. I'll be rootin' for you, anyway.

Fresno and I have the same goals until week 14. I propose an unholy alliance.

If I can knock off DH this week, which I feel good about, then I have VC who I should beat, and Spuuky who will make a fun closer to the regular season.

If LT can stay under 4 TDs I should be able to handle Whiz without TO. Maybe I should check how Kevin Jones is doing.

    not well at all.

Roy Williams managed to go from zero to hero for me, thanks to being in the right place at the right time. reminds me of the TD Koren Robinson got for me last year from falling on a fumbled ball in the end zone.

Or when Moe Williams caught that lateral from Moss. That was so great that Burger King made a commercial about it.
