    Default Collecting Cards

This is kind of a silly topic, but I'm on Disc 3 of FFIX, and I've done the card tournament in Treno (& won), but I'm a real nerd and I'm into the game and collecting the cards. I play a lot, but I'm still learning and my cards' levels are really low, so I tend to lose. That said, I've lost a lot of cards.

Anyone have any ideas for the best way to gain cards? Any places or enemies in particular that hand out nice ones? Or is it just completely random?

I don't even know why I care so much.
Hi! I don't come on here often, but when I do, be sure to say hi. I'm nice and I don't bite. I just have a life.

    Square Games I have beaten:
    FFIV, FFVI, FFIX, FFVII

Square Games I am currently playing:
    FFX, FFV, Chrono Trigger

Pleeeeeease don't spoil anything for me. Or I will cry. And maybe stab you with a plastic fork.

^ That has the location of every card in the game, including which townspeople play which cards. You'd be surprised, some townpeople play really good cards only rarely, maybe once every 5 - 10 rounds or so. You can get some really good ones early on that way.

you should get some more common cards and level them up so they are strong, that way you don't have to risk losing more valuable cards. play the people in treno by the fountain, they have good stuff.

you can get the Ozma card from one of the card masters in Memoria as well, the one that mostly uses Dark Matter cards.

to get your card level to the highest you need one of every card with each possible combo of arrows with all x type attacks and also something else(i think.)but seem as you just want higher levels play more card game and get more (and dont only play the card games at treno because there hard.) and also try and get some cards from enimies.p.s. whats your card level?

To get the highest rank they all have to be A cards.

1700, and no one I know has done it. The closest I've gotten was 1650 points.

Apparently you get absolutely nothing for getting 1700 points.
