yet another matrix topic [with spoilers and all]

its been a while. anyway, you know that morpheus said in the firts movie that all humanity was gathered in celebration when AI was created. that was marvelous but, why would you give AI to a bunch of machines who were in charge of humanity's most unwanted tasks? you know (from the animatrix) like contrusction, servitude, prostitution, etc. wasn't that a really dumb move? and when the machine city 01 was nuked, don't you think that the emp produced by the esplosions would finish off what was left from the explosions themselves? and destroying the sky, what was that all about? could future humans get any more stupid??

well, it would be nice to see some coments about the first question...

You'd give AI to a bunch of machines who do unwanted jobs so you wouldn't have to do them. :\

and -n-, woudln't it be more practical an easy to just PROGRAM robots to do such cores automaticaly? seems like the humanity from the movies learned absolutely nothing from the slavery years: you got slaves, they'll turn against you as soon as they know they actually CAN turn against you.

Most of those jobs still require some form of decision making; they just implemented a system that was too robust.
