The gates opened once more, admitting the next two combatants.

"The next battle is between Orlandu and the Ninja! BEGIN!"

The Ninja drew his katana and charged at Orlandu, who brought his own sword up in preparation to thrust.

"Shellbust Stab!" he yelled, thrusting his sword at the charging Ninja.

A burst of energy emerged from the tip of his sword, striking the Ninja in the chest. The Ninja gasped as it impaled him and his armor shattered, its shards littering the ground.

Gasping and clutching his bleeding chest, the Ninja stood, making arcane symbols with his hands.

"Dark Sword!" Orlandu yelled, again thrusting his blade at the Ninja. Once more, energy burst from his blade and impaled the Ninja, although this time it didn't open another wound. The Ninja finished the incantation, but his magic fizzled in a flash of varicolored light.

"Holy Explosion!" OIrlandu yelled, bringing his sword down. A blast of white light emerged from the heavens and engulfed the Ninja, blasting him to the ground. Orlandu sheathed his sword calmly as the Cleric and White Mage unit rushed to his aid.
