No more Gold Chocobos?

I know this isn´t necessary at all, but I like collecting things in Final Fantasy games,
and this time it concerns Gold Chocobos.

I was gonna try and get six of them, just for the fun of having that many.
However, I seem to have messed up: I bred my own Chocobo before getting the one from Ruby Weapon, you know; the thing is, the "Weapon Chocobo" always ends up being female, just like my bred one.
Therefore, I try getting a male one from normal breeding, but I always get those boring, normal chocobos instead.

Is it impossible to breed more than one Gold Chocobo, or what?

Logic dictates that once you have two Golden Chocobos of differing sexes you can breed them together to make further Chocobos. Granted these Chocobo due to cross-inheritance would most likely have three wings, no feet and go "WERK!" instead of "WARK!". However I've never had more than one myself. If you still have the two parent Chocobo and a free stable, then just keep at breeding them. I don't believe there's a limit to the number of little blighters darling birds you can have.

i had 2 on one of my datas before my memory card corrupted and i lost all data...sniff...

i dont have the game but if i barrow it and give me about 6 hours i bet ill have a full stables. i kinda liked having a rainbow though .....

o0 Meh... I've had four Gold Chocobos before... Dont rember how I got 'em though... X.X Oh wait.... Yeah I do... I just continued breeding the black and wonderful chocobo... I think that's how it went...

Something wierd happened last night, I bred an S class blue chocobo with a B class gold chocobo just to harness their combined speed and stamina (for racing purposes). I used a Lasan nut to breed them, and the result: A new gold chocobo

I almost couldn't believe it. Such a primitive nut, and a wild choice in parents gave me a new gold. chocobo.

Maybe if you breed a Gold chocobo with ANY other Chocobo, there is a chance to get anotehr Gold chocobo. Just a theory, some1 else test it.

Lol, I must say I absolutely LOVED that Chocobo comic! It fits into the plot of Gold Chocobo breeding SO WELL! I actually bred a second golden chocobo by breeding my female black chocobo with her golden chocobo son!!! So needless to say the golden chocobo played as both the new golden chocobo's father AND brother!!

Right now I´m the proud owner of two perfectly good Gold Chocobos of opposite gender, Boco and Coco.
