About Google ads

I dont see them, I haven't seen them in months. They dont show up on any of my browsers, however I can see them on my other computer that is on the same network. Ruling out the possibility of my router doing it, and the lack of a firewall due to other problems, what could be causing this.

I dont mind not having ads, but I figure this might cause other problems somewhere down the line.

Just for this site, or any site with google ads? Try checking the same URLs in both machines.

Maybe you have something in your hosts file blocking the googlead server on the machine that can't see them.

You don't use firefox's 'Adblocker' extension, do you?

Try the same url on different machines, but in different browsers as well.

I already tried different browsers, and they dont show up. But nevermind I found out that adservices.google.com was added to my host file. How, I do not know, but I dont think I did it. Any ideas on how it got there?

Does Spybot block Google Ads?

I dont know about spybot, but Ad-aware might do it, since it is what I have.
