It's my birthday next saturday and just recently I started play FFTA again and I totally LOVE Final Fantasy again.
I want to get a game for Playstation 2 and I wanted to know which is better:
X or X-2?

I'd say X-2. Very non-linear and very fun too.
Well, obviously you should get FFX, even if FFX-2 was better (which it wasn’t). Playing X-2 without the background from FFX would make a mediocre FF game even worse.

Ya final Fantasy X. Final Fantasy X-2 was kidda Girl-like. Still both are great.

Both had great gameplay, but FFX was better in almost every other way. And as people have already said, you wouldn't have a clue what was going on in FFX-2 without playing through FFX first.

so now that you've bought FFX, you can:
1. beat it.
2. download the perfect ending for FF X-2.
3. use the money you didn't waste on FF X-2 to buy a CD or something.
you'll get the whole FFX experience at half the price
X....for obvious reasons stated above.
After you play x you will love it
Since you love ffx after playing it
YOU WILL HATE ffx-2 for the parody of a fantastic game it is (music,design,plot)
FFX, it tells the whole story that you'll need to know in FFX-2. But personally, I enjoyed FFX than FFX-2, its your choice though. ^_^
