Open office is soooo slow

I'm trying to open files on it, and suddenly it's deciding to be really slow. We're talking about 16 KiB files here, not giant multi bible length files, like it makes a big difference.

The process stalls almost all the time..I'm sad.

I've tried reinstalls and there's RAM unused...rawr

Oh. my. god. Yes, it's the slowest program in the entire universe! Our school made us use it, and it would take 5 minutes for the program to even open. Uninstall it now before you injure yourself in anger. And don't even try to have a spelling check. the program will break down. ;_____;

Certain versions acted a bit strangely.

I find it does strange stuff if you feed it corrupted word documents :}
