Sword Fight

Last night I started to replay FFIX to try to solve Thingfish's impossible riddle. I played the part of the sword fight in the play and I tried to get all 100 people impressed, but I can't the most I can get is 94, not making any mistakes. Can anyone help me to get all 100 members of the audience impressed?

Gee... that's a hard one... the most I got was only 92, even when I tried all over and over again. Maybe you should do it fast without mistakes?

I've got 98 impressed. 100% u gotta make no misstakes at all and be fast to press the buttons, then I mean FAST

I impressed 100 nobles and the Queen on my first time playing the game and I have maintained a 100% record in all my playthroughs. I just listen to the music and match the button presses with the rhythm. I guess being musical has helped a lot with my timing.

i took ages to get to 100.its easy to make no mistakes so all you need to do is get better reflexes and keep on trying.

I get usally 90 sumin, cant be bothered to keep redoing it

Just keep doing it fast, you'll get it wrong the first few times probably, but eventually you'll get it right.

I got 100% and impressed the Queen after about 4 attempts.

I found that to get 100% you have to get them all correct but also keep it at a fast steady rhythm. If you get most of them extremely quick but a couple not quite as fast you'll only get in the high 90's. Just try and keep a beat in your head to time it right...

does anything special happen if u impress the queen and 100 people at the same time? cuz i impressed the queen b4, and i impressed 100 people, but never both at once

i think you just get more gil. i don't know, of course, since my best was 94 with the queen being impressed, but that's what i would bet on

anything near the 90s+ you always impress queen brahne (atleast every time i did it going for 100). im not sure how you couldnt impress brahne and 100 people at the same time. btw, my highest was 94

You get a pretty useful Item for impressing 100 people (Moonstone maybe?). It's not completely about doing it as fast as possible, but more about doing it with the rythm (kind of like DDR).
