Thread: More London bombs?

    Default More London bombs?

Just got a call from a family that there have been more explosions around London. I have no idea whats going on and the news don't either but one of the reported sites is in Shepards Bush, which is really close to my home (If it wasn't for the BBC studios I would be able to see it from my window.)

But I'm not sure whats going on, I can hear helicopters and sirens and I can see police outside my window but I havn't seen anything confirming that there were any bombs or how many if there were.

And the tube system is on high alert and will probably be completly shut down.

    Anybody got more details?
    Word/s.

I dont think it went off. It didnt work porperly. Its all over sky news right now. It wasnt anything close to an alqaeda attack or something like that. It was just an unorganized attempted suicide bomber. Thats my take on it anyway. 1 injury so far.

No deaths. This is just gonna keep dragging on now, some other moronic bombers gonna get an idea.

I thought it was just smoke that came out, there's no news of explosions, all bbc news says is "incidents" and that smoke came out in the tubes but theres no smoke outside.
    I'll figure it out later...

There was smoke meant to be coming out of one tube station

Last I heard there were no deaths and 1 or 2 injuries, which is relief to hear when a repeat of the last attacks could have happened.

Glad to hear that there were no casualties.

Still I can't help but wonder...

What is this world coming to!?

i doubt it was al-qaeda. it's been exactly two weeks since the london bombings. someone had the idea that this will scare the crap out of everyone.

anyone wanna takr a guess how many folk will take the bus or train next thursday after this? it was more to scare than to kill. it doesn't matter who these bombs kill. if you set a bomb of every second thursday then you can shut down the entire system for a 7th of the week.

Plenty of people will continue using the bus and train. You could die crossing the road and thats alot more likely than to die of a suicide bomber on the bus. Most people with common sense will realize that. (Im not saying you dont have common sense, I just disagree with your belief that people will be scared by this)

if you put bombs on 3 trains and a bomb every thursday and people know it is every thursday would you be willing to go on? if thursday was "bomb day". if you were 99% sure that a bus and a 3 trains were gonna have bombs on them that day there is not a hope in hell people will go on them.

Thursday is not a bomb day. There is no reason to think a bomb will go off next thursday and no guarantee in the slightest. Theres no reason for people to treat it that way either.
