You can't buy it, you find it in the City of the Ancients. You can buy an item that casts the spell, however.
You don't buy the Comet materia. It is found in the Forgotten Capital in the City Of the Ancients at the end of Disc 1. If you feel embarrassed about asking simple questions you could PM me and I'd be more than happy to help.
Stardust is the item mentioned above. You can exchange it in the Battle Square of the Gold Saucer or get it from a Behemoth.

-_- I was curious, since I'm using hells knight, I thought a multihit spell would work even better than ultima, since I can't buy it, that means work...

I think you could buy Gravity materia in Cosmo Canyon, but there are other places you could buy it.
