Vanilla Ice really wasn't a bad rapper. He was a decent lyricist, and I'll think that no matter what anyone says.
Where as Mike Jones is total crap no matter how you look at it. His voice is annoying, he raps about what EVERYONE else does, he has no creative or lyrical talents.
Sounds to me like a case of "I like what society likes"
