star ocean (sphere 211)

I heard that the final bosses in sphere 211 are really hard, and that you should be on LV 255 if u want any chance of beating them. I'm on 156, and by gaining a level every floor, i hope to be up to 255 by the time I reach these bosses. Anyways, are they really that hard? and if so, can you give me some tips on how to beat them?
It would be greatly appreciated, thx.

Not only should you be at level 255, you should also have +4000 attack stuck on to every weapon, and have the best defensive measures you can take. In addition, get a full supply of every form of stun bomb you can, full supplies of all ressurrection items, and as much healing stuff as you can muster.

I've not tried to fight them, because I unlocked Universe difficulty, which I'm going to one-character. =D

you actually want, 8 atk&def+30% on the veinslay weapon for fayt,with a noots of prowess with an atk&def+30% and a tri emblum (from the santa merchant) this should take you to 5,000DEF (at lvl 255) making all attacks aparat from AAA's and symbology deal a grat big 0...mwahahahaha...
this also works with mirage...(evil grin)

at this point ethereal blast is your friend.

thx, ethareal blast would be my friend at least if it would work, i hold down the attack button and he just stands there. Could anyone give me some help plz?

Fayt setup
Weap=veinslay (w/ATK&DEF+30%x8)
Armour=Valiant mail (W/DEF+20x8)
Accesory=boots of prowess(w/ATK&DEF+30%)
Accesory=Tri emblum(one from the saanta merchant)

Xshort:side kick
Xlong:none
Oshort:side kick
Olong:Ethereal blast
support1:standby healing
support2:common support symbols

now take berserk off so that you are always hit for 0HP&MP by all attacks execpt for when your hit by symbology and AAAs.
and that is against anything,even so symbology does insufficant damage to even scratch you.(Tip use all the healt+ and magi+ berries on fayt you do that you have a pracitcally IMMORTAL character,it is the ultimate way to gain BTs at lvl255)
with that set up you won't need luck,you'll win full stop.

They aren't actually hard, they just take awhile to kill, whats hard is getting battle trophies from them.

with the setup i suggested they all become as hard as the easy difficulty setting,including people like lenneth,freya,fayt&????
like that you can run right in nad beat them up while taking no damage,against lenneth with this setup i easily earned loads of BTs,including beat her on your own,but anywho,yeah like that your immortal and can easily get all the Bts from the urssa temple as well.

aeet, I've only got 1 boss left in the game to beat, freya. She refuses to die!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear I've tried her 30 times at least, the most I've lsted so far is, about 3 minutes.
With her ether strike, I either have to have good timing to stop it, or use an item to disrupt it. But she always manages to get it in eventually!!!!!!!!!!!
The other bosses were easy, though ethereal queen was a little challlenging, so any help on freya would be great, thx.

but just use the setup i said and you'll be fine,yeah it's time consuming and takes alot of fol,but its worth it,just use that you'll win..

on the fayt&???? battle theres two of them,which does tend to make it harder for you,especially on the universe difficulty. but when you get the 4D difficulty setting,that's when you begin to get frustrated...freya is near damn impossable on that mode,only took me 4 hours to beat her on that....
but yeah,as i said that setup on galaxy/universe is near foolproof,with that setup,you'd have to be a really bad player to lose.

As far as I know, Fayt&???? can ONLY be harder on 4D mode. On normal and universe, Freya is a lot tougher.

Oh, and ATK&DEF+30%x8 is just crazy. It's so frustrating to get ATK&DEF+30% on a Weapon. I actually just added a ATK&DEF+30%x4 on Albels Weapon, myself. I didn't even use Fayth when I defeated Freya. I used Sophia, Albel and Maria.

ether strike does nothing.
but yeah you just do that and you cannot lose.
