As for the original question, I dont think they did anything, but I think that sleeping next to the person you love can be just as important as sex, so I'm sure Tifa enjoyed it regardless.

And as for her being embarassed, she's a very shy and private person, I dont think she'd want anyone to see her cuddling with Cloud or anyone else for that matter.

edit: And before the freakout begins, no I'm not saying that Cloud loved Tifa and not Aerith. Merely that Tifa has very strong feelings for him (that's fact) and that, depending on how you play the game, Cloud has them for her. And even if you dont play that way, Cloud still had a crush on her at one point- wanting to impress her as a child and whatnot, and still seeming to crave her acceptance as an adult.
