Laguna's theme is l33t also, and blue fields is even tolerable.
My favorite is Fisherman's Horizon. I like it a lot
SeeD is good and i really liked the man with the machine gun but i prefer the music of other final fantasy's to this one (cept 9)
Eyes on Me and the Piano version of it (Julia's Piano Theme).
Anyone else despise "Eyes on Me"? (No offense to those who like it) And how there's about ten versions on the game with different names... although "Julia's Piano" is ok.

Balamb Garden. You really feel like it's a school and you're part of it thanks to the music. Also 'Eyes on me' when you watch the ending. And the credits (forgot the name of that song).
The Ending Theme is my favorite song in FFVIII OST. It's fully orchestral, and it has pretty much everything: Eyes on Me reprised, the main Final Fantasy theme, Liberi Fatali theme and the Prelude theme.
