Labels are just stupid. Why does everyone want to know what they are? Why can't people just be like, I am me. You don't have to label yourself into one certain stereotype, you should just be whatever you want to.

Blue_Mage, I think you can be whatever you want to be. Nerd and geek are just labels, and labels suck since they stereotype people. I don't like being called either, but that's probably because the definition where I live means people who have no lives or friends, who are completely anti-social and it's practically impossible to get any contact to them, and who spend all their days studying and nights programming and h4x0ring. There's some additional definitions for them, like they go into the shower once in a month if even that, they download animal pr0n off their Unix/Linux systems and they look really pimpled and ugly. In addition, those labeled as a nerd or a geek get frowned upon by some people.

I am a geek/nerd/loser/otaku/pathetic worm and I'm PROUD. When I hang out with my friends I speak l337 and I do so with my head held high! If I'm at the drive thru I'll tell the lady at McDonalds, "I want a Burger plzkthnx!" If she responds in a negative tone I say, "You FAIL! Smurf off BAI!!" WHY?! Cause I like to!

When I'm going down the road and there's a gansta' pumpin his fat jams in his tight ride and I'm listening to Utada or BoA or some anime title them opening or some Final Fantasy song I turn it up and I sing LOUDLY in really bad Japanase because I like to!

Dude. You are who YOU are regardless of labels or titles so the only thing necessary is to be what makes youself happy. At the end of the day lying with your thoughts it's only you and yourself.
