And it doesnt bother me, because Shulp is absolutly right, its just a label. Why should being viewed as a geek make you unhappy? It gets viewed in a derogetory term, and thats the same as being fat. Do whatever you want, screw people and their stupid idealogy on how you should be to society. Its dumb, it shows no potency, and people like celebrities promote this for their own personal gain. Think of yourself before anyone else
If what you people promote was actually true and practiced and believed, people would have no social hierarchy which as we all know is not the case.
If you are a geek, then be a geek. But if you are a geek trying to be a player...something's incongruent. The congruency is what is most important -- for example a basketball player is not going to care that he's not 300 lbs and ripped; that sort of value system doesn't apply to his value system. Likewise if you are a geek you aren't supposed to care about things that don't related to being a geek...whatever it is.
I'm still not quite sure what a geek is.
PG, don't be fat. It is true because I believe it's true. If you believe it's not true, it isn't true. The majority believes it is true, which is reflected in social structure and all that crap, but that doesn't mean people who refuse to buy into it are dopes or anything.
Geeks by definition are tech-savy individuals; such as clout, Endless, Samuraid, and Dr Unne. The rest of us are nerds, or nerds aspiring to be geeks. Geek is an honorable title. Nerd is just a sad, sad little man.

Labels are just stupid. Why does everyone want to know what they are? Why can't people just be like, I am me. You don't have to label yourself into one certain stereotype, you should just be whatever you want to.
