My brother, when he was about 9, tied string to a plastic bag, then tied the string around our hamster, and dropped it out of a window, to make it like a parachute jump. The hamster survived and didn't show any signs of distress, either.

The rabbit is just sad, because my dog has an eating disorder (lol that sounds funny) but she like can't stop eating and her heavy weight will definitely contribute to an early death.
The hamster is only funny if you picture the critter doing it on purpose ("Goodbye cruel world!"), not if he fell out the window. The latter would be sad.
