Does 1/35 Soldier mean that there are 35 of that item, or is it referring to the size, that the figure is actually 1/35 in proportion to a real soldier. Or did they just want to make it up for no reason.

Yes, it's simply in reference to the size of the figure, just like the miniature airship item (that can never actually be obtained) at the auction house in FFVI. By winning them at Speed Square, you can actually obtain up to 99 of the 1/35 Soldier items.

it says there are twelve in the collection and are 1/35 the actual size. on FF:OSG.com there are loads of rumour involving them but tey r all teh falsest.
