whats the easiest, least expensive way of getting wings to discovery?

You can do the Chocobo race at Remiem Temple in the COlm LAnds and open 3 treasure chest without hitting a pole and manage to win the race to get 30 wings to discovery. If this is your first time doing this then you will have to repeat the race again to win them. Another way that is a little expensive is to bribe a Malboro for 540,000 gil for 4 wings to discovory or if you have t a load of money you can bribe a Great Malboro for 1,280,000 for 8 of them. Another way that is long and hard is to fight Nemsis you get break weapons/armors. If you want a strat on how to fight Nemisis just let me know and I'll give it to you.

you forgot to mention the easiest way (apart from the chocobo race) which is to fight Shinryu (alwasys drops Wings to discovery x2 for overkill). however, you need to be pretty strong to beat him and the battles cost 15 000 each i think. this is cheaper than bribing Malboros though.

How do you unlock Shinryu? Captur five of each monster?

Capture at least 2 Splashers, 2 Achelous, and 2 Maelspikes from
the flooded part of Mt. Gagazet Cavern. IF that doesn't work then cature 5 of every monster and that will unlock him. If you want to defeat him then make sure that at least Wakka and Tidus can hurt more than 65,000 damage with phy. attachs.
