Pokémon Red. Or Blue, if you're that way inclined. You gotta catch 'em all, Crash! No, really. If you haven't caught all 151 within 48 hours I'm coming to your house and murdering you.

    FF: MQ sucked...

GBA ROMs too if you like, Golden Sun, FFT:A all that jazz. Try FFVI and FFIV and FFV too. Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, and Illusion of Gaia is good. Try also Orge Battle. And if you are the type, SimCity and EVO as well.

Apparently you think any game where you have to deal with numbers is an RPG. Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, and Illusion of Gaia are adventure games. Ogre Battle is a strategy game. Sim City is a simulation game.

Secret of Mana and Evermore are Action-RPGs, they do edge heavily on the RPG side what with levels and whatnot, and the magic system in Evermore (which I loved).
Ogre Battle is a Tactical RPG, less so than Tactics Ogre, but it's still level and class based.
I'll give you Sim City and Illusion of Gaia though, sure you level up in Gaia, but it's more Action-Adventure than anything.

I personally think that Seiken Densetsu 3 is a good RPG. It has a nice Multiplayer Feature as well. (It is in the Mana Series, so I suppose this should be expected.)

    Edit: Oh...you have that...

Well then, how about Bahamut Lagoon? That is a very good game.
