about the hitler thing. before the second world war america was quite isolationistic. it had had a few wars, phillipines, canada, mexico ww1 etc. but didn't like to do much else. after the second world war and the start if the cold war. it became a habit it fight wars by proxy. and with the creation the jewish state in israel to control portions of the middle east.

i don't think there are worse treaties to break than those on human rights, wars and weapons. except global warming but america refuses to sign them anyway so never mind.

"but thier own people do most of that." that's why the american army isn't equipped with planes and tanks and guns. because they're all peace loving tree hugging hippies in camo. bombings were not in baghdad before the illegal war. they are now. what changed between now and then? america decided to break international law and fight an agressive war. that is why their own people are now just a teeny weeny bit restless about this entire thing.

i actually said i dislike america not it's people (though some of them i dislike too) that's not racism. like you probably aren't too fond of north korea, nazi germany, soviet russia, or franco's spain. i am not too fond of america. that doesn't mean you hate every korean, russian, german and spanaird like i don't hate every american.

bipper the post is still there but i think i have last track of which thread it is in too. it was in retort to you saying that the deaths in iraq where caused by them not us. it was trying to say that american and british coliders also have the habit of killing people.

"You could simply not us the pc anymore." actually with my disability the use of a pc is unavoidable anyway. and some american businesses i have no problems with. i refuse to support porn by watching it. (not saying that all porn is american it is saying that it is one thing i also refuse to do on moral grounds) i refuse to support macdonalds by buying a big mac. i won't drink a coke. i won't buy american food when possible (subsidies buy it for me anyway).

Yes, I do see a lot of you ponits Cloud 9- and let me appologize for getting emotional on these grounds. The world is the way it is. I too do disagree with a lot of things. But not all evils come from america. Scottland has a shadowed past of rebellion as well. The world is not coutry vs country, but people vs people. America is a melting pot (and tries to be) of all different types. I could say that if anyone of us could turn earth into heaven we would. But we cannot, and for good reason.

I think that instead of yelling about things to us, if you could write a well organised and factuall petition, and send it to McDonalds - I would be all about supporting the facts. That is all we can do unfortunatley. I do say that greed is an evil and must be supressed - but america was found on different virtues than greed. I thank god that i am american, and I really appriciate everything that i will ever have. If there is somthing i can do to fix injustice - i will. I did not like sadams tyrany - and I wanted it done with. there for i support the war. We dint just go flying planes and bombing one day - we gave them warning.

I just hope that all can end well. As hope has been known as the greatest human virtue for ages.
