Im having a hard time with my sig. Ive got it down to roughly 43 k but now it looks like a postage stamp. How do you guys get yours to 50 or less and still keep it at a descent size? I mean look at it , it looks about the size of my avatar.

While in photoshop...
Go to file then save for web and switch it to jpeg and have the quality around 80 or 60 when saving things. You should easily be able to stay under the file size limit with that.

Yes, it's like Starry Relm has said. The actual dimensions of an image don't always have much to do with the kb size. Unless they've got a zillion layers to them or something. It's all in how you save it.
