Psycho Cyan: A glitch even cheapter than Vanish/Doom.

So I was checking around the various internets, and discovered a site devoted entirely to the glitches in Final Fantasy VI. One of them in particular, called "Psycho Cyan" caught my eye, and after trying it out and nearly foaming at the mouth, I thought I'd share it.

First off, it can be done as early on in the game as the three group battle against Kefka. Have Cyan use Retort, and then immediately turn him into an Imp. While he is in Imp form, he is unable to use SwordTechs, so he counterattacks with a regular attack. Now, immediately kill him with whatever you wish. Revive him during the battle, and leave him in Imp form. Now, when he, or any party member gets attacked, he will counterattack...Over and over and over until the target dies.

Try it out. It's spiffy.

Nifty but not the easiest glitch to exploit. Certainly not easier to execute than vanish/doom.

I don't know why Vanish + Doom is the most notorious. Vanish + Xzone is much better.

The Cyan trick sounds a little too glichy for me. While Vanish and killis just exploiting the imaginary physics, psycho Cyan is more about screwing with the code. Also, I like making Edgar and Terra into my imps.

With the Vanish X zone combo you miss out on items after the fight. For example if you vanish-X Zone doom gaze you dont get bahumat after the fight. Vanish-doom though, will get the same effect but you wont lose out on any after battle items. This is my experience anyway, maybe its different for others. Oh, and im talking about the actual cartridge, not the rom. Maybe the ROM is different.
