and yes i did. it happens that most of the peoples favorite games were final fantasies, so those were the only ones that i had judged on. and in my opinion, i havent seen/played many good rpg's that are NOT made by square, so that is another reason why i didnt include them.

thats not always true. but the stories on old games were pretty good. i just never spent my time on playing 6 final fantasies that didnt catch my eye. it would be a complete waste of time, considering i have a real life. plus, i tried out FFVI for a little bit. to me, it was extremely boring, and considering that some say its their favorite, and the latest FF before VII, i didnt bother trying the rest of them. that is where i come up with my judgment.

Also, out point is that you said that FFI-FFVI have horrible graphics so they will not tempt you. Yet you list CT as one of your favorite games. But following your logic, since FFIV-FFVI have horrible graphics, and the graphics of Chrono Trigger are at the same level, you should have never played Chrono Trigger because it's horrible graphis won't tempt you.
Seriously Aidan, you should at least play VI. I personally thought it was a bit better than Chrono Trigger. The others aren't quite as good, but they are still pretty good games. But FFVI is a must play.
Also a lot of people debate whether FFVI or CT has the better graphics.

CT uses a more colorful palette, while FFVI tends to be more a bit moodier. Overall quality, hard to say. CT is prettier, though.

Sure, it's a good game, I could just never get into it.
it was ment to be funny. thats what makes it so awsom. like in battle when your party just sits around and it tells you they're picking they're noses, it's hillarious. but for everyone who played super mario RPG legend of the seven stars you know it comes in a close second. (not nearly as funny though)
