This is a fake, yes. It isn't Tifa and Barret at all. This was something someone photoshopped like two years ago. Even without the slave gear making it obvious, this guy's complexion is closer to Rude's than it is to Barret's, and Tifa doesn't an ear full of earrings.Originally Posted by Vanilla's vanilla

I think that was part of a prank by a well-known Final Fantasy site a couple of years ago, in the wake of FFX-2 being announced. They claimed that FFVII-2 was in production, and that Tifa would be the main character. That picture which you posted was part of a fake magazine article the site posted, but apparently it originally came from a French art book.
