I would agree that reading "chat speak" is really annoying and is more difficult to read because it doesn't let the eye just flow over the words naturally. Anyway, I'm not targetting anyone specific, just adding my 2 cents.
Some people use bad grammar, "chat speak", bad spelling..etc. But to me that is, as long as I can understand the person, it is fine. They might not have english as the primary language or being exposed to a world of broken english since the day they started learning english and think that it is better than standard english.
Well, back to the topic, sometime it might be a good thing to summon your GF slower as they can be a meat shield for you.
