What does monster skill do?
It unlocks hidden abilities for allied monsters which are standing close to a character with Mon. Skill equipped. Some of the more evolved monsters have some pretty cool hidden skills.

yes, for instance if a team chocobo were standing next to ramza with monster skill that chocobo could use choco esuna (as long as it's next to ramza) Black chocobos I think can use choco meteor with this I think and so on and so forth
