Default America - Bastion of Evil???

What are your opinions on the United States of America in the world today? Do you think it's a just society in which liberty and freedom are its primary virtues? Or do you think it's a bastion of evil filled with all of humanity's vices, intent on destroying and conquering the world a little at a time? Or are you one of those "green" people who think that it should be leveled to the proper enviornment (i.e. non human)?

Where do you think the United States belongs on the political atmosphere today?

I'm not American, I don't speak for American people, and I'm not against American people where it's due.

America, after slaughtering 15 million natives, is the most powerful country in the world. It's obvious they aren't too shy with that either. They're definately something that needs "sorting out", but in what way no one knows.

Some people agree with capatalist views
Some people agree with communist views
Some people agree with anarchist views
Some people agree with socialist views
    You get the idea.

Each one of them have thier strength and weakness's, but as far as I am concerned America is a danger to countries that are NOT in the Western world. Example one: They invade the middle east because of "terrorists", but will not invade Ireland even with parlamilitary groups (on both sides), instead they will only investigate, we're white and christian, our bodies cost too much money.

Thats my view, take it as you wish.

My wife's American. Her dad is a diehard Democrat and her grand father is a die hard Republican who is apparently in the Mason's...illuminati and all that, on her dad's side every generation has had a son in the military dating back to Van Buren, interesting family.....pretty much says it all really.

Oh, and human's are the root of all evil, not one race, nationality, sex, humans as a whole will be eternally fighting the evil within themselves. In the words of a late great 'We're just a virus with shoes people'.

I have faith in America. No nation is flawless, no nation is without mistakes in the past. The USA has her fair share of them, just like Britain, France, Japan, China, and Australia.

However, I am very fond of the US on a more personal level. The people there are largely very friendly (If someone overhears a conversation on something they're interested in, they might strike one up with you themselves. That just doesn't happen in England.). I feel far safer in the US than here in England, too.

And I think the values the US is built on, even if they have been strayed from somewhat, are the very based values upon which any nation is built. Despite the encroachment of the welfare state and of government involvement in personal matters, the fact is the US does remain freer in most aspects than many other places do.

I only watch comedy anime with subtitles. The serious ones (Eva etc.) have a tendency to loose there emotional impact if you don’t understand the language completely.

America is amazing and every country should be shaped in its image. Canada's already doing it, and nothing can be better :D

America's okay. It's not without its flaws and there are other countries in which I'd much rather live.

Every country/city/person/family/planet has it's problems, and America is no exception. Whatever, I guess I'm neutral.
