I really hope I don't sound like an oldbie, but man, when I used to go on #eoff a lot, it was the opposite of hyper. No one was ever on there, and if people were, it'd be slow. That's about 1 and a half/almost two years ago though.

The entire time I've been visiting chat (fairly consistently for the last 11 months) virtually every day has periods of activity and periods of absolutely no chatting whatsoever. Some days are crazier, like whenever Psy is there, or when BoB announces the Ciddies. But I think that if you averaged all the activity it would be right on target--nice conversations, not too fast, not too slow.
