Unfortunately 50,000 children are reported missing every year. Additionally, 1 in 4 children fall victim to inappropriate touching. Eighty five percent of the predators are known to the victim. Thinking that "it won't happen to my kids" or "I'm pretty aware of what goes on…" is exactly what pedophiles hope you think.
In the past 3 years in south carolina, there have been 364 cases of child molestation. Keep in mind that the poll was only from people who were willing to identify themselves, so the actual number is much higher.
How can anyone sit back and say, I really dont care about these children's lives because it doesnt effect me? That is one of the worst things I have heard in a long time. Maybe you need to be older to realize how stupid and dangerous it is to have no problem with a repeat sex offender living next to a school.
