Seems to use the Playonline however i have no idea if its the same POL Viewer that FFXI uses. Whether this be online only is unconfirmed. What is confirmed though is that theres a JP Beta test, unlikely to have a NA one.

why are they continuing with ff7...I mean yes it is my fav. game and yes it was great....but a movie a second game that wont barely have anything to do with the first. theres a game for cell phones where u work as reno and rude...(im preety sure off)and its rumored that there is a ff7 remake on the playstaion 3....(i dont belive, the trailer everyone see's is just a tech demo...to show what the ps3 can do)

I really hope the online mode is good, something along the lines of Splinter Cell's multiplayer.
I just hope they don't wuss it up by making it too RPG-centric.
Okay I have a problem with this post...you would hope a game that originated from a rpg game has some of the same features as a game about special military units....whats the world comming too.....how could you possibly hope for something like that....
and besise ive already hurd that the game is action based...and about the only reason people even mistake it for rpg is because vincent is in it
