Indian vegetarian food is amazing (far moreso than the meat dishes, I assure you, having cooked both myself), but it's not amazing enough for me to forsake what little meat I do eat. If you are vegetarian, be sure to get your proteins from beans, legumes, and the such, and be sure to take supplements, especially Vitamin B12 and folic acid (from a family of vegetarians, I'm the exception being an ABCD ).
