Blitzball - Too easy?

I was wondering about this again today, and I realized that I hadn't seen too many topics about it, though maybe it was something I missed... anyways... am I the only person who found that the blitzball minigame becomes insanely easy after your characters become about level 10 or so?

After you play the tournament, if you keep playing for a while and level your chracters, picking up new ones along the way, I find that the entire game becomes insanely easy. I mean, often times the opposing goalies are so bad that I can get tidus' sphere shot to score from my side of the net (starting at about 60 or so SP)...

Also, the AI is rather lacking, as it often attempts to do impossible things. For example, one of the players decided to not break through my defender, even though their END was a few points higher than my player's AT, followed by a shot. Now, my player's AT might not have been very high, but he had a block of 21. The opponent's shot was at 24, meaning, if it did pass by my player, the chances of it going it were pretty well none.

I've played through the game several times now, and every time blitzball becomes a bore, and the only satisfaction I get out of it is telecopying a tech or winning a good prize. I've geting a brand new team to make it harder for myself by starting from low levels again, but I had already filled up my team, and it wouldn't let me hire any new players...

I really wish there was some sort of difficulty setting... but, then again, I guess its just a minigame...

Anyways, anyone else have this problem?

its hard at first but its actually quite easy to win stuff near the start at lows levels as long as your good at it like me (i won the first match in the game VS luca goers 3-0)and usually at the end of the game with my characters they win about 8-0.

Yea i think so too!
you just need to whack it in the manual mode and wiggle your character around all of the defenders and score! no matter what level you are! but i thought that X-2 blizball was too hard, because of the injury factor

Man, does brother make the game so much easier.
Yeah, it does get pretty easy.

It is easy.. With brother art level 40+ or so.. You're unbeatable!

If you're talking about the first blitz game you play in Luca, that's BS. You can't score 6 times with 200 HP.

And yes, Blitzball's easy. But fun.

1 you do have 4 other players than tidus duh! 2=for tidus 2 = datto and 2= for wakka when he had to come on the datto 1's were hard thou i had to be rite next to the golie (why do you only use tidus in your blitz games or somat

Yeah the last thraet in the game of blitz is the great and mighty Al bhed goalie with a starting 18 catch! Yeah All I do is play through the game ignore blitz thn take he Airship reset blitz data than pick up wedge and Kyou and wakka with your massive gil loads.
