yea, it seems that being governor is harder than everyone thought.
I want to be governor of California.
I'm glad I have a governor who can pronounce the name of my state.
Seriously though, it's a bit sad that people considered him to be governor material, just because he was in The Terminator.
I had a feeling that his public opinion polls would decrease like that sooner or later.
It wasnt that everyone was thrilled to have The Terminator as their governer, it's that he was the only worthwhile choice on a list of hacks and idiots and Bustamante, the underling of the shyster governer we'd just ousted. There wasnt a whole lot to choose from.

Gray Davis wasn't really that bad, and the energy crisis was created deliberately by Enron to drive down Davis's popularity and strengthen the effort for a recall.

Any more than it makes him worthy of them.
But I doubt the few people who voted based on stances and candidate merits really have much faith left anymore.
being a movie star doesn't disqualify him, but his total lack of experience or governing skill does.
