To a popular question I feel obliged to answer. There is no 0, because you can only have 20 pole options and if you count, well, it was either a 0 or something else that needed to be left out. Happey
You should have left out the 10 because that can never happen.
I gave it a 9.0, since I consider it the best of the 'numbered' FFs.
On this scale I would have given FF Tactics a 9.5 and FFVII an 8.5.

I didn't like:
1 the fact that bosses are very easy to defeat.
2 lack of importance to the story of the other main characters.
3 too much importance to the junction system... if you do it correctly, the game turns very easy.
The card game, character design, music, story, everything else is great to me.
If you manipulate the statistics system of them any RPG will become easy. How about not bothering with junctions? Use amnesia greens on all your "*-J" abilities and then have a whinge.
It depends on what I'm comparing it to. RPGs? PS games? FFs? Ways to pass time???
I dunno, I'm all conflicted.
Gave it a nice solid 8. It was the 2'nd ff game I played all the way through. It is a good game,but it is not the best ff game I have played, but then again I'm only 11 and the games I play all have super multi-player action and spectacular graphics. FFVIII has good graphics for a PS1 game though.

just kidding XD i thought it was a great game, maybe like a 8.5. but rinoas kind of a hoe, so i'm gonna drop it down to an 8. but you get to bash siefer so many times, so i'll bring it back up to an 8.5. but GEEZ rinoas such a HOE! i'll stick with 8.25... cuz even if she's a hoe, she's not bad looking...

i give it 8... since bosses are too easy and the last part looks like a filler and cities during that part are unaccessable so the only thing you can do in the end is go through Ultimecia's castle and beat her(-2)... so the game's last cd is the worst of all(i know that it was meant to be this way but what about all the monsters?). The first three are pretty good, thought.
you know theres an ability Callshop or something like that so you don't need to go into the towns or cities...
and if ya think the bosses are too easy then challenge urself a little more and they won't be XD

do you even realise that with the card refine things you can get astonishingly good items? e.g. refine Bahamut card and get 100 YES 100 Megalixers now tell me that ISNT worth playing the card game to get that?
