Tifa would easily beat Aeris. Remember how she knocked down Scarlet in the slapping contest? Yuffie, Red XIII and Cait Sith are probably the only ones who could stand a chance against Tifa in a catfight, assuming Red XIII is a feline (I always thought he resembled a lion with some dog's traits).

Aeris swings staff at Tifa (assuming no one's got any materia), Tifa ducks and punches Aeris lightly in the stomach. Aeris faints.

Well,Aeris wouldn't do that,but......assuming she did, it would be depending on what they have (i.e,materia,weapons,limit breaks,ect...) Aeris could have a chance,because of her healing limit breaks,but her defensive & Attack abilities are quite low.Tifa,on the other hand,lacks healing limit breaks,BUT she can hit Aeris multiple times using her limit.Tifa has the upper hand (assuming they are not using materia & just attack/limit break)
