any beter ways of geting the good materia from choco racing?

I race for ages trying to get those dang materias from chocobo racing, and then when one comes up in the three different things u can win, i get a phlipin pheonix down or somthing crud... dus anyone know how the system works so as to get them more often... like wot rank is best and stuff???

The best way is to race until you get to s rank and then when your chocobo is at s rank keep racing until you have won like 15-18 races in a row and Ester will give you one of every item like the cats bell!!
Oh yeah and don`t double post, I know I`m not an admin or anythin but it`s better you hear it from me then them so you have a chance to edit your last post.

learn how the bets go, and get the materia you need. i never found much use out of those materias, but some is good. some isnt.
