Treasures?
Alright, if you go to Brave Story, you can see the "Treasures" and "Unexplored Lands" that you've "discovered" through your jobs at the bar -- the Propositions. What purpose do they serve? Any? I've got some Materia, the Kid/Adult Bread, and some other stuff -- does any of that matter?
What about your "levels"? Like "Treasure Hunter Lv. 3" that the bartender dubs you? Do those matter?

I think it's just there for looks. I got all the lands but not all the treasures.

It's for bragging rights and little stars in your Brave Story section.
The levels reflect your progress to getting all the Treasures and Unexplored Lands. For example, there are 16 Unexplored Lands you can find, so every time you find another 2, you advance a rank in Explorer until after you get all them, you become Explorer Level 8.
The strategy guide and most websites have some of the propositions incorrectly listed.
What follows is a complete, accurate list of all propositions that give a Treasure as a reward, the city you find them in, the cost to undertake it, and what jobs you should have the characters you send in. Eventually it will be added to the EoFF site.

...While I do appreciate the gesture, I don't care to get all of 'em, especially if they don't really mean anything. There's no extra Job Class I could get, I can't sell anything, I can't use anything. I'm no better with the items and hidden areas than I was without them. Thanks for answering the question.
