I'm sure everyone's heard about the original radio broadcast of War of the Worlds. I used to think people couldn't be so gullable as to believe that a fake news broadcast, or article could be real again, but stuff like this, how fast it spreads over the internet, and how slow people are to realize it's fake, or to listen to people telling them it's fake kind of shakes my confidence in mankind. I'd say the majority of people who fell for this article never actually read it, never made it past the first paragraph, or looked at the URL, and thought that they could actually trust people on the internet have their facts straight.Originally Posted by Rye
