    Default Dot.TK

Alright so it says you can have a free domain there. Thing is you have to have an old site to port it there. Other thing is say Im using freewebs and I port it to Dot.TK. I still have to program and manage the site on freewebs. Im starting to get a funny feeling. Is this just a website where they say you'll have a free domain but they really just shield your name with the domain name you wanted?? Im having big doubts on this. So I go to my site under the free domain crap and say I click on a link. It still says the domain name when you enter. My site is in my sig if you wanna become my fan help me on my problem. *cough* So bottom line is that I need help finding out if this is a phony site or something...

A domain name and a web host are two different things. Getting a free domain name just means that your website will have that URL. It doesn't mean they're giving you free hosting.

Paying for webspace is crap b/c you just end up living by their rules (no warez, gamez, crax, hax, porn, etc).

Just host your own webpage on your own internet.

use cjb, they were good to me when i wanted to create a website. Untill i realized I have no skill whatsoever in creating and managing a "REAL" website.
