We want to pretend that sex doesn't exist so that we have less to worry about. Instead of worshipping sex or outright denouncing it, we're just more and more ignorant about it.

For example, the idea that I can tell women about their own biology that they have no concept of is bizarre and completely unnatural in my opinion.
Same with learning about PMS from you're 7<sup>th</sup> grade science teacher. *shudders*
