    I didn't see one of these made so i took the liberty of making it...

    yea...answer the question...

    My favorite...is 2 covers and 12 counterattack materia's ...OH YEA!!!

    i like life2 attached with an all materia on all my party members and a life2 attached with a final attack materia on cloud. it makes it very difficult to lose

    does attaching more counter attack materia on one player enable more counter attacks :S

    get loads of final attacks and hack away.final attack-KoTR ,final attack-pheonix,final attack-comet E.C.T.unfourtuneatly this take loads of time to master all of the final attacks and get new ones but it is one of the best setups.as many final attacks as possible.

    well i like Added Effect and Hades, which covers your enemies in all sorts of statuses, then covers and counterattacks, oh and Elemental Materia (the blue stuff) with master magic on armour of course!

    Those who want happy endings have to write their own....

    My favorite setup:

    (Mega All)
    (E-Skill)
    (Master Summon=MP Absorb)
    (Master Magic=HP Absorb)
    (Master Command)
    (Final Attack=Revive)

    Ultima-MP Absorb, Ultima-HP Absorb, Ultima-Sneak Attack,

    couple of hp +'s. i guess. then contain. enemy skill somewhere in there. w magic. (insert any strong attack magic here) + quadra magic. w summon. 4x cut (KICKASS MATERIA) maybe some cures+all. or life+all. don't need final attack materias. that's basically all i would need. maybe throw some mp+'s but not necessary. basically anything will get me by. even without kotr.

    I think this is the best/strongest Materia Setup in the entire game:

    Mime=Magic Counter
    Knights of Round=Sneak Attack * 3
    Knights of Round=Final Attack * 3
    Phoenix=Final Attack

    Three Knights of Round attacks at the start of the battle, mimed each time you get attacked.
    If you die, youŽll cast three more Knights of Round and restore the whole party.
