Default What is hurting the Bush agenda most???

Well this question was spurred by a comedy clip from the daily show, of which i'll post a link HERE

Now i think that the thing mostly preventing the Presidents agenda is the fact that the people of America dont want it... too late to change ur minds now u swing voting (*i'll cut it out myself admins*). But im interested in what u think that is stopping the President from accomplishing most of his goals that he lined out at the beggining of this term.

And here I thought poor leadership and poor outcomes was bringing the war support to an all time low, when it was actually our genes!

To stay on topic, I think he's been trying to get the bananas from the banana tree in his backyard for the past few months. [strike]Monkey[/strike]Guy's gotta have his nanners!

It is sad though -- with the republicans in power and his agenda is still being slow. Dern, there might be more than two ways to look at things!?

Think we need more promicing canidates next election. I remember reading in a paper that over three quaters of people who voted for bush - did it merely because they did not like Kerry... wow. I would hope that is a messed up sample.

Sadly, it's probably close to the truth. I know a lot of people who just voted for Bush because, well, he seemed stronger and more forceful than Kerry. Perhaps had we chosen a more strong and sensible president, we could have done something a bit more than a cowboy.

Or we should have just gotten someone with libertarian ideals.

Bush is hurting Bush's agenda. While republicans may have damn near total power, they don't want to go with Bush on everything anymore. Especially considering mid-term elections are coming up and Bush's numbers continue to drop. Then in another year after that some will start running for president. The last thing they want is to look like they are mindlessly supporting, or supporting at all, the agenda of a person people don't agree with or believe.

I think we really voted him in just to piss off all those anti Americans... Dont make us do it again! <---- not a hollow threat

Another thing to keep in mind. When it was bush vs gore.. guess who had the popular vote? It wasn't bush. Though I don't know if gore would be any better. So perhaps.. the majority is stopping him.. cause.. well they didn't get who they wanted?

As for the kerry vs bush deal.. Yep it was the same in my area. "Kerry is too weak.. I hate bush and his policies.. but he has gotta be better then the worm kerry" Something like that was said by someone I know.

    We need good canidates.

STILL Updating the anime list. . . I didn't think I was that much of an anime freak! I don't even want to consider updating the manga list!
