Thumbs up Who's played on FF Mystic Quest?

Ahhhhhhhhhh.... that was a great game. But I got SO annoyed when I couldn't kill this fire dinosaur-skeleton thing in a dungeon.

I know that a lot of people don't like it but I thought it was an enjoyable game. The graphics are colorful and the music is fun.

Plus the fact it has a 20+ field for your name so you could put in good names like "some guy with herpes".

It's pretty ace, for an old game. The characters were great.

I've beaten it, and it was rather good. Not great, though; only a good game.

I think I like FFMQ more than I like FFX.

Definitely. I enjoyed FFMQ more than I did FFX.

It's been quite some time since I completed Mystic Quest, but I remember plenty of it. I had a ball, though when I found out we received it instead of Final Fantasy V, it hurt my opinion of it slightly. Slightly.

It's a marginally interesting three hour diversion.

I actually didn't like this game... I think it was just the whole mood of the game. A little too dark for me.

Dark? MQ was like the happy-go-lucky-rainbow-fun-time version of FF developed by an American team that involved stupid puzzles and a slow and boring battle system. Your party has a maximum of two characters, and the environment interaction is cheesy.

I still liked it when I got it for Christmas one year .

It wasn't bad, but the battles were more than a little boring.

The game just isn't challenging. At all. I played halfway through the game then just gave up because it was way too easy. It'd probably be good for a little kid, but my mind demands complexity!
