They didn't remake London for the PS2. If you look at the order of the PSX games, it seems likely London is next, with Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas all appearing in the original GTA (Although Vice came after SA in GTA) and London was an add-on pack to that.

What I'd like is a kind of GTA: England, with four cities. London, Birmingham, Liverpool/Manchester and Edinburgh/Glasgow. Admittedly the distances between them would be skewed, but hey, since when was Las Vegas a mile from Los Angeles and San Fransisco?
