I care about and value the opinons of my best friends. So yes, I would care if my friends told me that they liked the guy, cause having the support of friends is always a good thing. If they hated the guy, then there might be issues that I'd want to look into. Anyways, I guess you must define "care". It certainly would not affect my relationship in any way. But it might just make me a little unhappy with whomever's making whatever comment. A cousin of mine once called my (then) girlfriend a few (mostly racist and misogynic) names... she was black, FYI... I cared enough about what he said to break his nose, so, yeah. Didn't make me think twice about her, though.

I still say no. As long as I'm happy is what I'm sticking with, my significant other has nothing to do with my friends anyway, the internet's kinda different like that. I'm not going to betray my boyfriend if a close friend of mine hates him, because fact is, my boyfriend is my best friend.
