Final Fantasy II. I didn't know about the leveling cheat back then, so it took me forever to make my character do decent damage and have decent defense/HP. -_-

I think I've logged more time in FFXI than any other game and still haven't beaten it. I have brought shame upon my ancestors...

ff1. I started it back when in came out but never managed to finish the final dungeon until I tried again 10 years later.

FFX took longer to beat, not in play time, but overall time because I got stuck at 1 point and didn't go back to it for a while.

As for which took the longest ammount of play time, I don't know. But I've clocked the most hours on IX, with over 100.

Well I dont know what final fantasy is the hardest to beat, I've played them all and finished them all...but I think the longest FF game I've beaten is FFX-2 because its new...

The world of silence maybe a cold and bitter one; like the deep wastes of the arctic regions, it is fit for neither man nor beast. Holding one’s tongue may be prudent, but it is an act of rejection; silence build walls – and walls are symbols of failure.

FFVIII, as I played it on and off for 3 1/2 years before beating it.

    FF5, 9, 10, and 10-2 each took me about 6 months to a year.

    Yes, I have a life.

The actual hour count on each was about the same: about 40-60 hours.

I think I have several months, if not a year, between starting ff4 and restarting ff4.

I've got about 250 hours on FFX.
